Fusion’s Student Household Service provides safe and supportive homes for young people aged from 15 to 24 years old, who don’t have a permanent place to live.

How we work 

Our team of professional youth workers helps young people identify their goals, supports them to work toward these and to develop the skills needed to live independently in the future.

In each of our homes, we create an environment where each young person has the space and support needed to come to an understanding of who they are and what they want to do, while developing their own supportive community and sense of purpose.

Managing Expectations

Young people are expected to engage with our youth workers and case workers, to participate in a day program, which can include work, study or training, and to help with cooking and cleaning in their home. Our youth workers are there to provide mentoring and support in these life skills, as young people learn and gain confidence.
